摘要：crystalline alloy of nickel, cobalt and boron, which are dense, uniform, soft, hard,highly reflective, and resistant to corrosion, temperature and wear. the alloy is epitaxiallydeposited on a substrate by electrolysis, activated (16) by means of a rectangular wavepulse.epitaxial deposition occurs in an electrolytic bath (7) containing nickel and cobaltions, complexing agents and is composed of aminoborane at relatively low ph andtemperatures.an insoluble solid catalyst (18), preferably palladium, is causes thepenetration of alloy in the surface of the substrate (16), and the connection of them bypolar covalent. it also describes tools coated with the alloy, as well as the electrolyticbaths and processes of manufacture of the alloy.
