摘要：The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical formulation for intranasaladministration comprising morphine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof at a pHfrom about 3.0 to about 7.0. Such formulations provide enhanced absorption of morphineor pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. In one embodiment, the present inventionprovides a method for eliciting an analgesic or anaesthetic response in a mammal whichincludes nasally administering a therapeutically effective amount of morphine orpharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof at a pH from about 3.0 to about 7.0.
