摘要：To provide a receiver enabling a user to view subscribed programs withoutfailing to execute ECM and EMM processes necessary for descrambling.SOLUTION: Areceiver comprises: a tuner section which receives a service signal; a descrambler whichreceives scrambled content output from the tuner section; a control section whichcontrols at least the tuner section and the descrambler; and a CAS module which acquiresa second key (Ks) to be given to the descrambler. The control section is set to process atleast R (an integer equal to or greater than 1) of EMMs within a processing latency periodto the CAS module after the reception of the EMMs from each business entity. If nextones of the EMMs are detected after processing the R EMMs within the EMM processinglatency period after the detection of the EMMs from the business entity, the controlsection suspends command transmission to the CAS module with respect to the EMMs atleast within the latency period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25
