摘要：The present invention relates to a method for transmitting information forsynchronization of a user equipment by a base station in a wireless communicationsystem and apparatus for the same. In one embodiment of the present invention, asource base station transmits a request message requesting uplink synchronizationinformation according to a predetermined reference to a target base station, receives aresponse message including the synchronization information from the target basestation in response to the requested message, and transmits the received
synchronization information to one or more user equipments which are to move to a cellserviced by the target base station. The synchronization information is used when theuser equipments move to the cell serviced by the target base station without a processof acquiring the synchronization information.
