Quantity and quality
Lily and Annie are good friends. However, they are not like. They often have different ideas. For example, One day, they wanted to read books and went to library together, Lily said to Annie: “I’ll read them all.” But Annie said: “ I’ll read only this one.”
I think Lily and Annie both have their own ideas. Through the ideas, we can see Lily is a girl who wants to learn more at a time, Annie is a girl who want to learn better at a time. This is a kind of relation between quantity and quality. I think quantity and quality are both important. Whatever we do, we should do it best, that is quality. We should do more and more best things, that is quantity. If we can deal with the relations of the two sides well, they will become friends, not enemies. They will help us grow into a person who is more useful for our society.
Advantages and Disadvantages
John’s home is on the 33rd floor of a tall building. One day, the elevator was out of service. He had to climb the stairs on foot. he was out of breath from climbing the stairs. He said to himself: “It is hard to climb up the tall building. ” Another day, he went to vacation to a village and lived in a level house. When he was into and out of the house, he thought it is easy to go in and out.
From this story, I think everything and everybody has advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, we should use the advantages and try to avoid disadvantages or develop the strong points and avoid the weak points. On the other hand, we should try to find people's or things’ shining points in our life, not their shortcomings. If we can follow these well, we will do things well and become happy and active people.
