摘要：A liquid decontamination method and apparatus (10) uses a series of pulsedelectrical arcs across electrodes (22, 30) placed within a liquid stream which passesthrough a decontamination module (12). Sufficient energy is delivered by a pulsegenerator (50) to the electrodes (22, 30) whereby lethal ultraviolet radiation andmechanical shock waves are created by the arcs within the decontamination module (12).A plurality of modules can be operated in parallel or in series to vary the capacity of theapparatus. Gas is injected through one of the electrodes (22, 30) to facilitate thegeneration of arcs within the liquid.
