摘要：Disclosed is an electrostatic recording medium comprising an electroconductivesupport and a dielectric layer formed on the electroconductive support and containingan insulating resin and a pigment, characterized in that said pigment comprises kaolinhaving a quartz content of not more than 2% by weight and that said dielectric layer has,on the surface thereof, projections based on said pigment and having an equivalent
diameter of 5-15 µm as spacers. The medium features a minimum of dropout and flare.The pigment may further comprise other pigment having smaller particle size forattaining improved writability and decreased luster; and also may further comprise atleast one member selected from calcium carbonate, amorphous silica and aluminumhydroxide for improving continuous recording characteristics.
