摘要：A damper of the semi-active type is controlled such that the damping forcesgenerated by the damper, in response to relative movement between spaced membersinterconnected by it, are caused to be of minimal (ideally zero) magnitude when theproduct of the relative displacement between the members and the relative velocitybetween the members is greater than zero. The foregoing control policy may beimplemented by purely mechanical elements, or by electronic elements of relativelysimple and inexpensive types.
