摘要：In a telephone answering machine, when the calling party information receptionunit (10) receives calling party information, and the call detection circuit (4) detects areceiving signal, the main control unit (13) makes the line interface (2) capture thecommunication line (1) and generate a communication path to the calling party
telephone. The main control unit (13) then determines whether the memory (11) has thesame calling party information that has been received by the calling party informationreception unit (10). When it has been judged in the negative, the main control unit (13)makes the response message output unit (7) output the first response message. When ithas been judged in the affirmative, the main control unit (13) makes the response
message output unit (7) output the second response message. Under the direction of themain control unit (13), the response message output unit (7) outputs the first responsemessage or the second response message to the calling party telephone through thecommunication path which is generated by the line interface (2). As the result, thetelephone answering machine identifies a large amount of calling party information,records a large number of messages, and allows the called party to listen to themessages without trouble.
